MY UJ ADVENTURE: TWENTY YEARS STRONG UJ @ 20
As the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in the 2025 academic year celebrate it's 20th anniversary of excellence, innovation and transformation in higher education, I find myself reflecting on how UJ is shaping my personal and academic growth. I do not see UJ only as an institution of academic excellence but a home that inspires my dreams as a student. A Foundation for Personal and Academic Growth Starting my journey at UJ was an overwhelming experience, because of my fear of overcrowded places, communicating with people, and not knowing whether i chose the right course or institution that will help me grow and broaden my knowledge. But all of this is changing because of the tools and support that I get from UJ to navigate my confidence; now I am able to engage through lectures and stimulate conversation with my fellow students.
